The Development Council includes members such as Mr. MELOIS, the President of Pays de Ploermel – Cœur de Bretagne, «The active brain ready to work for elected members ». It actually includes members of the economic, cultural, environment and social world. The Commissions of the Development Council can set up proposals related to main issues for development of the area, and projects supported by elected members.

When drawing the annual balance

The balance of the team after one-and-a-half year is quite positive : • Businesses are committing with companies of the Country, covering potential markets of the Eastern countries ; they are setting up informative meetings with business managers who were successful in performing such challenges. • Projects aiming at getting together cultural members of the Country in order to implement a chart and a common definition. • The stress is mainly put on improving transportation means for working people (car-pooling) along with companies throughout the Country.

The Development Council members are endeavouring all their efforts to meet the expectations of working members over the area. Mr. VIGNY, the President of the Development Council, makes sure that exchanges and proposals made by all members help providing elected members with actual projects which can be enforced over the area.

Working for the future

Mr VIGNY, as the President of the Development Council in connection with elected members is requesting that its action should increase in a more intensive manner. The European Help Programme FEADER will provide the opportunity to bring a tremendous contribution, as such was the case for the area contract developments; this will give an opportunity to enhance the local member needs. This major issue will be to set up the best conditions to support active projects of local non-profit making companies for the next 6 years.
