It is located between two major regional capitals and University centres (Vannes and Rennes); as such, the Country profits by major assets which can comes up to the level of other areas and welcome newcomers and businesses: high building possibilities, dynamic farming and food industries, networks of companies ready to work, advanced training centres, which meet the needs to priority targets in the economy framework as already assessed: agriculture, services, and high technologies.
In order to reach such targets, investments, individual innovative training, improving individual services and Broad Band networks are all final priorities in our scope of actions.
Besides, partnerships with Rennes and Vannes areas are under way. We are far from depreciating traditional activities of local economy, however, we wish that such partnerships contribute to improve and master the population fluxes to reduce city concentration. We also wish to take advantage of university and research possibilities, for example in the field of new food products, transformation of refuses, creation of new services to help companies.
