To meet the recommendations of the National Chart for newcomers to settle in, all partners of the “Pays de Ploermel – Cœur de Bretagne » agreed upon the need for providing a long-term basis for newcomers to settle in.
Getting the best for welcoming newcomers
The « Pays de Ploermel – Cœur de Bretagne » wish to implement intercity meeting points all over the territory, with the purpose to be unique, acknowledged meeting points that reach specific “Standards”. As such, we are able to welcome and provide information to newcomers in the best conditions.
Purpose
In connection with Town halls, « Meeting Points » are aiming at gathering all necessary information within all areas of any interest for newcomers, in particular in the field of transportations, renting accommodation, schools and nursery homes, leisure (sports, culture, etc.) professional training, services such as healthcare, unemployment, bureaucracy.
A five-« Community of Communes » Network
The Meeting Point is involved with a network working at the scale of the territory of the “Country”. The aim of such networking is to facilitate exchanges of experiments in order to optimise quality of services. It is also aiming at improving the implementation of common communication and welcoming tools.
